The Travel Nanny connects traveling families with vetted, professional local nannies so you can experience Tokyo fully, knowing your children are in trusted hands.
Things you may or may not have thought about for your Tokyo stay
When you're a month into Tokyo, whether you relocated for work or simply chose to slow down and stay a while, life starts to look different. Your usual village isn't a phone call away anymore. The grandparents, the trusted neighbor, the friend who could take the kids for a few hours. None of that is here.
That's where The Travel Nanny comes in.
A proper date night. Tokyo has incredible restaurants, bars, and neighborhoods to explore after dark. You shouldn't have to miss them because the kids are asleep at the apartment.
A slow morning. Sleeping in isn't a luxury you left behind when you became a parent. It's just been a while since you had backup.
A meeting without the mental load. If you're here for work, showing up focused is easier when someone you trust is handling the afternoon pickup and the snack situation.
A day trip, just the two of you. Kyoto is 2.5 hours away. Hakone is closer. Some of the best memories from a long stay happen when you carve out a little space for yourselves.
A familiar face for your kids. In a new city, consistency matters more than people expect. A regular nanny becomes part of the routine, and that makes everything easier for the whole family.
When I traveled to Thailand with my two-year-old, I was terrified. Not of the flights or the food but of being a mom in an unfamiliar place with no support.
Then we met Paradee. A local nanny who became our cultural guide, our calm in the chaos and our family's lifeline. She turned what could have been overwhelming into the best trip of our lives.
That’s why I built The Travel Nanny.
